Super Secret Project is

The Super Secret Project is a comedy group based out of Boston, specializing in “making videos so you don’t have to”.  The trio have been together since 2005 when they produced the short ‘Vacationland’ which was received well by festivals .  Falling madly in love with each other, they decided that making vids was a great distraction from life and decided to keep it up, plus they came to the conclusion they were pretty funny.  The first recognition came when their video ‘Ode to Zach Braff’ was shown on ‘The Tonight Show’ but their true notoriety came when ‘Granite State of Mind’, their New Hampshire nod, went viral.  To date their videos have garnered over 6.5 million hits on YouTube and they have been written about in ‘USA Today’, ‘The NY Daily News’ and ‘The Boston Herald’ as well as making appearances on Boston media outlets such as WBZ, WGBH, WHDH, WCVB and WFXT.

Billy D is the musical genius of the group.  The Emerson grad got together with Christian while in college and created the first iteration of The Super Secret Project as a bar band with no ballads.  Billy loves squirrels, playing the didgeridoo in his downtime and coloring outside the lines.

Darby is the producer, band wrangler and the chick in the band.  Also a film major, she went to Syracuse University and is the one working tirelessly behind the scenes to make you all laugh. Darby enjoys film noir, prefers Ernie over Bert and she will do almost anything to get this group famous….almost anything.

Christian, the grand master, is the idea man.  A fellow Emerson Alum, with musical talents and mad writing skills; comes up with most of this high-end, low-brow stuff.  This white rapper enjoys ice cream and beer. Together.

Holly Winchell is the very talented singer who has collaborated with The Super Secret Project on ‘Granite State of Mind’ and the follow up ‘Plow Guy Boogaloo’.  Holly can occasionally be found slumming it with The SSP at their shows.  If you would like to contact Holly, she is a Facebook friend of The Super Secret Project (no, we aren’t giving you her email address, you creep).
